squint correction

From ยฃ4,000 ยท complimentary assessment

Squint, or strabismus, affects more than just how your eyes look โ€” it can impact vision, depth perception, and confidence. We offer specialist-led care for both children and adults using surgical and non-surgical treatment options.

What is squint (Strabismus)?

Squint occurs when the eyes are misaligned and point in different directions. It can be constant or intermittent and affect one or both eyes. In children, early treatment is key to prevent long-term vision loss (amblyopia). In adults, squint can cause double vision or social discomfort.

You may notice the following symptoms:ย

  • Misaligned or wandering eye
  • Double vision
  • Eye strain or headaches
  • Trouble focusing or tracking
  • Reduced depth perception

Conditions treated include:

  • Infantile squint
  • Accommodative esotropia
  • Intermittent exotropia
  • Paralytic strabismus
  • Post-traumatic squint
  • Adult-onset strabismus

Free assessment

We look forward to welcoming you to your appointment and answering any questions you may have about treatment options, the clinic, timings or fees. Your consultation will include a comprehensive assessment by a consultant ophthalmologist, including vision testing and any required diagnostic imaging, to determine your suitability for treatment and develop an individualised management plan.

02

DIAGNOSIS

Following review of your assessment results, your consultant will explain the findings and discuss the most appropriate evidence-based management options, including non-surgical alternatives where relevant. The consultation will include a discussion of the expected outcomes, potential risks, recovery considerations and associated costs, enabling a shared decision on the most suitable treatment plan for your needs.
