Ectropion and entropion surgery realigns the eyelids to relieve irritation, improve tear flow, and protect the eye.

What is ectropion and entropion correction?

Ectropion and entropion are eyelid conditions where the lower lid turns outward (ectropion) or inward (entropion). Both can cause dryness, excessive tearing, redness, and risk of corneal damage. Surgical correction repositions the eyelid to its natural alignment, restoring eye comfort and function.

  • Assessment & Diagnosis
Detailed examination of eyelid position, skin laxity, and eye health.
  • Surgical Planning
Custom plan based on underlying cause: ageing, scarring, nerve weakness, or trauma.
  • Procedure Day
Performed under local anaesthetic as a day case.
  • Recovery Phase
Swelling and bruising typically improve within 1โ€“2 weeks.
  • Final Results
Restored eyelid alignment and symptom relief achieved in 4โ€“6 weeks.
