stent surgery for glaucoma

From ยฃ3,500 per eye ยท complimentary assessment

Lower eye pressure and protect your sight with the latest in micro-stent surgical technology for glaucoma.

What is glaucoma stent surgery?

Minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) using micro-stents such as iStent and Hydrus is designed to improve fluid outflow from the eye and reduce intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma.

These tiny stents are implanted into the eyeโ€™s drainage system to facilitate better fluid flow, helping preserve optic nerve health with less reliance on daily medications.

  • Detailed glaucoma assessment and imaging
  • Day-case surgery with local anaesthetic
  • Implantation of micro-stent into drainage angle
  • Post-operative pressure monitoring and recovery care
